Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Walter Reichert has been pursuing his photographic vision for over 30 years. Although he has traveled extensively domestically and overseas, he has chosen to focus on the endless vistas of the Western United States, seeking out quiet, calm, peaceful places. He endeavors to capture the subtleties of light within Nature’s beauty and hopes that those who view his photographs will transcend the concerns of the immediate. “The lens allows me to see beyond the horizon.”
Walter completed his undergraduate and medical education in Utah and then pursued post-graduate training in St. Louis, Washington, D.C., and New York City before returning to Salt Lake City where he now resides and practices Neurology.
